Why Tasty Como?
Tasty Como was born in front of a steaming plate of an handmade “strangozzi” during our holidays in Umbria in 2018.
We were so enthusiast by the gastronomic offer and by the pleasure that is giving us that vacation that we asked ourselves: “why don’t tell other of the great food experiences that we live in our city?”.
Writing the articles, but above all, eating in different restaurants, we realized that our contribution could be useful to anyone who wants to taste the best of our city, even if in town for a short stay!
In Lake Como, food is taking on an increasingly important dimension, both because tourism is growing and because more and more when people get out to eat, they wanna do it well!
The culinary success that our city is having is witnessed by the numerous events dedicated to local gastronomy including: Gastrolario and the Cazoeùla Festival.
In 2018 Alessandro Borghese arrived in Lake Como with the tv transmission 4 Ristoranti that showed a part of our beautiful territory to all Italy.
In Lake Como in 2019 there are 6 restaurants that have received the Michelin star.
Never before have restaurateurs value the quality product and traditional dishes that regulate Como and its Lake.
Through Tasty Como we want to offer our personal opinion on the gastronomic experiences that can be lived in the territory. Our goals are:
- to share the passion for good food;
- bring to the knowledge of all the dishes of the Como tradition;
- talk about traditional recipes even in a revisited way;
- inform you about the gastronomic events of the territory;
- share what’s new about gastronomic experiences in Lake Como;
- talk about local products and producers;
- and why not try some recipes yourself!
